Xi and Wesley…
Another couple that touched our hearts…
Like us, they know what it means to have a relationship tested and strengthened by distance…
They’re from Texas by and by they’ve found themselves in Virginia, where Xi works as a doctor.
When we first met them, poor Wesley had just gotten off a plane from Texas where he’s pursuing another doctorate.
(That’s right- ANOTHER doctorate… he already has one… yup, these are the kind of amazing people we get to know and love doing what we do!)
He flies back and forth to see Xi… and she picks him up and takes him out to eat at their favorite places in Richmond.
They make use of their time. They know how precious it is to spend it with each other.
Soon they’re going to be together though… They’re tying the knot next March…
And they’ve asked us to document their special day.
We met them in Richmond for their engagement session…
And not only did we have a beautiful evening photographing their beautiful date in Belle Isle and on a hill overlooking the city…
This gorgeous, lovely, down-to-earth couple took us out to dinner…
And we got to eat a Bavarian pretzel!!
We love how much they love each other…
How he asked her to marry him in Boston…
(hint: we won’t give you any spoilers, but it didn’t go exactly as planned)
