What do you do when time goes by, and the things that brought you together disappear into the past?

There’s always a choice.

Choose to take time the time we are given for granted.

Choose to worry over the little things that try to make us believe that they are so important.

We can also choose to love.

Loving each other is a choice we make – it’s not only passive, it’s a course of action.

We can also choose to love each other every day, and to never take a second for granted.

To still go out on surprise dates together, to still sit down and talk to each other.

This year, we chose to celebrate all of the adventures we’ve shared over the past 11 years – and 6 years of marriage – with an anniversary session with the inimitable Laura Gordon Photography.

We’re so thankful for these, and will be even more thankful in another 11 years.

Laura is an amazing artist and someone we’re glad to call a friend.

When we look at these, we’re reminded of just what we have, of all that we’ve been through, and of all of the things we have before us.

We’re reminded to love each other.

Two years ago we decided we wanted to pursue the crazy idea of shooting film in a world gone digital.
