In seeking inspiration for this boudoir session, we were inspired by the free & whimsical mood of pool, the shadows cast by the interior of the Villa Centofinestre, and how they accentuated both the wardrobe of our subject and her sensuous curves. Using natural light and film as our tools, our goal, together with our stylist Federica Beni, was to walk away with a photo-story that drew from our Italian setting, that was sensual but elegant, and finally, that was unapologetically feminine. The pieces from Liv Hart & Girl With a Serious Dream were such a joy to photograph, but our subject even more so, as she truly embraced the mood and setting. Having never been photographed in a manner like this before, it was a pleasure to demonstrate to our workshop class the experience of working with a subject as we would a real client. From Wedding Sparrow: “Part one and part two of Michael & Carina Photography‘s epic Italian photography workshop tell part of the story of this incredible getaway.
